18 amazing 404 error pages
I mentioned in a post many moons ago on 404 error pages of the ‘stuff’ you need to include on your 404 error pages (links to relevant pages, a sitemap, an apology for the error, an education as to why the individual finds themself there in the first place, a prominent search box, a prominent link to your homepage, no mention of the term ‘404 page error’ as what normal well rounded individual knows what one of those is?!).
The following 404 error pages follow the same theme as my own i.e. they break convention, are funny/ beautiful and have been created, in part, to aid SEO (inbound links and site stickiness).
