Google confirmed yesterday that their local Pigeon algo update has just rolled out to the UK (it hit the U S of A in July).
Key elements of pigeon:
· The update improves Google’s distance and location ranking parameters
· maps radius is tightened for local searches
· Reduced packs results
· Local rankings are now determined by DA, backlinks and other more traditional SEO rankings factors
